Pentahelix Synergy.
Innovation at MBI is driven by solid Pentahelix collaboration — integrating industry, government, academia, communities, and media to advance agricultural research and sustainability.
Cross-border research in agronomy, physiology, and food genetics. Targeting a harvest weight increase to 23–25 kg/bunch, edamame yield of 10 tons/ha, and opening an export route to Singapore. A 15 ha research demo plot in Nanggerang Village.
Corporate-based “Millennial Farmer” vocational incubation: a 3,000 m² demo-plot investment in Cibalagung, transforming students from job seekers into job creators with a 3-year offtaker contract.
Youth food-security education and provision of seedlings and organic fertilizer. Integrating scouting harvests to strengthen supply for the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) program.
Territorial regulation and mobilization of idle land into productive food-hub belts, with legality validated directly by regional leaders.
Circular downstream product research (zero waste): extraction of energy drinks and bio-organic liquid fertilizer for village MSME commercialization.
Applied land-ecology agrotechnology: physiological observation of the compound BJM intercropping system at the Bogor demonstration plantation.
Every Part of the Tree Has Value.
"Latar Hijau" Agrotourism & Education.
MBI’s integrated plantation expanse will be transformed into the "Latar Hijau" Agrotourism area — also a Self-Reliant Agricultural & Rural Training Center (P4S), making it an educational recreation venue and a national-scale agribusiness model study center.
Post-harvest facility layout arranged using academic research on the Activity Relationship Chart (ARC) & Total Closeness Rating (TCR) for faster, more efficient distribution.
